歡迎大家來到樂山大佛參觀旅游，我是你們的導游 ，大家可以叫我小 。在進入景區前，我要提醒各位的是，在游覽的時候大家一定要注意安全。我們的游覽線路是：從這條山道上去，依次游覽靈寶塔、爾雅臺、海師堂、凌云寺、大佛、凌云棧道、麻浩崖墓、烏尤寺、東方佛都，時間大約兩個半小時左右。然后，我們將原路返回，在此集合乘車前往下一站——峨眉山。

到了周武時期，一代女皇武則天，曾經下令，編寫一部《大云經疏》，來證明她是彌勒佛轉世，同時她也在百姓對彌勒佛的崇拜中登上皇位。樂山大佛修建在武則天政權結束后的20多年，所以海通和尚開鑿佛像時，自然選擇了彌勒佛。
